Born in Russia and raised in both Russia and a small port town in Israel, Liza and her family immigrated to the United States when she was 16. Though Shtromberg has a loyal clientele of both stylists and celebrities - Rachel Weisz, Nelly Furtado and Kiefer Sutherland are regular clients - she rejects a trend-centered approach to designing. Rather, her jewelry is meant to be classic, universal, organic, "playing into who you really are," she says.
